BLACK VELVET is the only black paint capable of withstanding extreme temperatures up to 1200 F. This high temp paint will maintain a rich black color and won't burn off.

Great product. pretty pricey, but true to the saying, you get what you pay for. pay less get less. product cures to a beautiful satin finish, was brushed on but looks like it was sprayed on.painted exhaust headers with it.

This review is from: 2010-2012 Acura MDX OEM Rear Bumper Protector
It was hard to tell from the photo and description what this item really is. It is a piece of 3M protective tape cut to the shape of the upper painted part of the rear bumper. It fits perfectly and doesn't change the look of anything, so that is a positive. However, if you think you are going to get a piece of hard plastic or metal to protect the bumper, that is not the case. Also, the tape needs a special 3M application solution, which is not supplied and may not be available locally. I called a place that installs this kind of stuff on cars and they advised me just to use a quart of water with a teaspoon full of dish soap mixed in with it and it seemed to work well. Not sure how good or bad and idea this was, but after spending $60 on this I didn't feel like I should also have to go buy a bottle of expensive solution when I only needed a tiny amount to wet the surfaces of the bumper and tape. The installation was pretty easy and instructions provided were good.

pretty good but not really a primer basically a straight sealer.can not use over bare metal, and must be careful on platic panels as well as i found.is a very high quality sealer but not for priming at all.best to tint with Kk koncetrates to match color you are sparaying for easier color coverage.all in all a pretty good product.

Some projects deserve a smooth satin black finish. The all-new Rat Rod Black is the only way to go! Sure, some like to "drive her in primer," or opt for a quick "rattle-can" paint job, but this activated single-step acrylic urethane Rat Rod Black is a better choice. Features exceptional long-term durability, and UV/chemical resistance, as well as scratching and marring from normal wear. No further reduction required. Goes on smooth provides complete coverage in two medium wet coats.
Includes (1 Quart) Rat Rod Black, and (8oz.) of activator

This is an awesome paint. It does have a little more gloss then I wanted at first, but it turned out looking real good. It mixes well, sprays nice and the set up time is fast. I will be coming back to you guys for more.
