| 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful  high build, easy sanding, great price, By TwistedAutoWorks (Bellingham, WA) - See all my reviews This review is from: U-POL 2.1 URETHANE High Build DTM PRIMER-Auto-Car Paint i've used U-pol primers for years. when i tried my first gallon of this stuff i was a bit skeptical since i've found that most DTM primers sand gummier than most full urethane primers. this stuff sands almost identical to my full urethane primer, plus i don't have to worry about tiny spots of bare metal when priming. for large bare metal areas still use an etch primer. good gloss holdout, minimal bleed thru. i like to let mine dry for a couple days to minimize scratch swelling. that is over 120 grit scratches though and probably could be eliminated with 240+ final grit sandpaper |
