Great Product ! Seals just like your cars manufacturer did on your original paint job. Make sure you know how to apply this product or you will not get the results you desire. It is very thin going on, and what it looks like wet is what it will look like when it is dried. Wash, Wax, and then use this product and it will stop the oxidation of your paint.

I use it mainly to weather proof electronic devices on electric bikes I'm building (ebikessf.com), especially to seal around electric cables where they come out of enclosures. This stuff is very sticky - bonds to almost any surface, flexible - doesn't easily crack, doesn't conduct electricity - I use it on circuit boards. However it is toxic, use it in well ventilated areas, wearing respirator is a good idea, definitely wear cloves, this stuff gets under the skin and is really hard to wash off.

A flexible polyester glazing putty designed for spot filling and skim coating over repair areas on flexible bumpers and plastic parts. Its flowable viscosity is ideal for filling minor imperfections such as: sand scratches, nicks, dings and gouges. POLY-FLEX may also be used to skim coat over repair areas or large surface areas that have the original paint still intact. Remains flexible after cure. Can bend up to 77° without cracking. I tried this in lieu of other brands. In the past I used Kustom Poly Glaze Finishing Putty, also sold on Amazon. I used the Kustom once before on my Manx VW Beach Buggy. It worked awesome until I ran out. While ordering another tube of it, I also ordered this product since it said "Fiberglass Evercoat". Well, the Kustom dries faster and is harder and not sticky than this stuff. This stuff drys slower and leaves a sticky residue on your mixing board and the Filler Spreader. I would never buy this product again and it costs more than the Kustom that I truely reccomend. I am not a pro body guy, let alone fiberglass guy, just have a hobby of fixing up old cars.

I used this product to shave the emblems and recesses on the plastic parts of my camaro (ground effects)and it worked as advertised. I didn't have a problem with it gumming up my sandpaper (I used automotive sandpaper btw)and it sanded smooth with 220 & 320 grit. A word of caution though.....it is very "flowable" for the first few minutes so make sure whatever you're working on is supported and level. The approximate work time is about 3-5 minutes so don't add too much hardener

I've used many types of fillers in my 2 years of schooling. This item is by far, THE WORST! It gums up the sandpaper constantly and makes it almost impossible to sand, even with 80 grit. I don't know if it's the evercoat brand or just this item; but this one is really poor. I strongly suggest looking at another brand for a flex putty.

Permatex Heavy Duty is better than the equivalent grade of 3M buy a slim but noticeable margin and totally blows away the adhesives of lesser grade that cost the same. Good value here. A must for high temp durability in hotter climates ! Don't waste your time with the other stuff like I did and have to re-do it with this stuff to make it happen. Put it on heavy on both sides and it's there for good !
