The application went on smooth. Directions are pretty clear and with the measuring system, its almost impossible to mess up.Takes up to 7 days to fully "cure" for "regular use". I found that to be very true. After letting it set for ~2 days, I re-installed my hardtop on the Jeep. Once I took it back off, I found a couple of spots where the liner had rubbed off. Other spots have been very nice. Great texture (reminds me of an orange peel). Would use again. I painted my entire jeep xj with it and it looks fantastic. A single box (4 liters) covered the entire car with one coat so i bought two just to be safe. it's really simple to use and it looks amazing. The textured finish hid a lot of the small dents to the point that they're hardly visable at all.The only thing i'd recommend is to use the sprayer that u-pol suggests. I originally used a regular paint sprayer and it gave it a pretty smooth finish. The u-pol sprayer gave it a much more textured finish. Also, try to avoid rough concact for the first few days after painting because it takes a few days to fully cure. |
